ABOUT THE YOUTH CENTER

The North Tonawanda Youth Center is a branch of the North Tonawanda Department of Youth, Recreation & Parks Department, which is a municipal organization funded on a city and state level.

Located in The Hope Center at 383 Vandervoort Street, the Youth Center welcomes youth grades K-12 to participate in programming.

There is no fee to participate or attend; however all participants must be registered for their free Youth Center Membership

All staff members are first aid certified and every room is monitored at all times by these workers.

The youth center is only for residents of North Tonawanda.

Come and hang out!

Something for everyone!

Each and everyday youth can participate in what we consider "open" programming, which refers to activities that are open to participate in at anytime on an any day.

These programs include:
  • Daily arts & crafts
  • Air hockey, billiards, foosball, ping pong
  • Video games (PS3, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii,)
  • Open gym
  • Streaming Apps TV (Sabres games, TV shows, Disney movies etc.)
  • Computer lab (internet, music, homework etc.)
  • Tutoring

Come and get involved!

A variety of special interest programs and clubs are also offered throughout the year.

Though free, these programs often require registration due to the limited amount of participants that the program can handle.

  These programs include:
  • Dance Team
  • Chess Club
  • Sign Language Classes
  • STEAM Club
  • Cooking classes
  • Peer Tutoring
  • And more...

Browse the website for information on current programs offered.

New programs are also made available throughout the year so be sure to always check back or follow us on Facebook or Twitter to stay updated.
