Student Government Day

Tuesday, May 2, 2023

Open to all NTHS Students

Student Government Day is a tradition at NTHS dating back many years. It's an all day event for a select group of high school youth who were elected by their classmates to “serve” as a city official or department head for the day. They are introduced to their city counterpart where they shadow them for the day. They are given the opportunity to see how our city operates in addition to getting a tour of city hall to meet other department heads including a tour of the police station and other city buildings.
