Welcome to NT Rec Summer Basketball!

Boys and Girls Outdoor Basketball League

June 13th - August 18th
@ Payne Memorial Park basketball courts

Residents: $50 (sibling discount available)
Registration begins 3/30

Non-Residents: $80 (sibling discount available)
Registration begins 4/16

Get ready to have some fun in the sun as we bring back our popular summer outdoor basketball league. This year we are expanding from our previous format of co-ed and will be offering leagues for both boys and girls.

League day and times: (Grades are based on what grade the child will be for the 22-23 school year)

NEW FOR 2022!!!
This summer we are offering skills clinics for boys and girls in grades 3 - 4. Most of the summer will be spent on instruction and development of basic basketball fundamentals. For the last couple of weeks, we will break kids into teams for scrimmages. 

Mondays: 
Boys grades 5 - 6
Girls grades 5 - 6

Tuesdays:
Girls grades 7 - 9
Girls grades 10 - 12 

Wednesdays:
Boys grades 10 - 12
Boys & Girls grades 3 - 4 (Skills clinics)

Thursdays:
Boys grades 7 - 9

Free skills will be offered to allow the kids to hone up on their fundamentals and also prepare the coaches for the player drafts. Clinics will be held at the basketball courts at Payne Memorial Park. (Click for directions) Clinic days and time be as follows:


League Schedule for Week of June 13th

Monday, June 13
Girls grades 5 - 6: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Boys grades 5 - 6: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Tuesday, June 14
Girls grades 7 - 9: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Wednesday, June 15
Boys & Girls grades 3 - 4: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Boys grades 10 - 12: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Thursday, June 16
Boys grades 7 - 9: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Teams will be drafted and posted online by the end of the week.

Teams will meet for scrimmages the week of 6/20

The regular season will begin the week of 6/27

Championship week will take place in mid-August.

Please note: Times may fluctuate depending on the amount of teams per day. Games could start as early as 4:30 pm.

In the case of rain, our games will be moved to the NT Youth Center (383 Vandervoort St). A notification would be posted to our Facebook page and you would receive either an email or text message update.
