The North Tonawanda Youth Board will be hosting 2 major events this spring for our graduating seniors from NTHS. We are expecting 150 to 200 participants for each event.

First, on June 18 – 20 we will be hosting a Senior Surge. The event is aimed to provide the seniors with a fun, challenging, team-based competition where they will be sent on various “quests” throughout the city.

They will be introduced to historic parts of the city they possibly have not seen before and asked to perform various tasks, answer trivia questions, and solve various riddles. Points will be awarded, and winners will be announced.

The overall winners of the Senior Surge will be awarded with a limo ride to our next big senior event, a Drive-In Movie Night at the Transit drive-in. 

On Wednesday, June 30, we have rented out the entire Transit Drive-In to allow our seniors one last major gathering with their classmates to say goodbye to high school and hello to their futures. Another fun-filled, safe event to honor the seniors for all their hard work at overcoming all the adversities they have faced this past year.

The Youth Board is seeking funds and/or donations of prizes from civic minded groups and businesses to offset the cost of the events which includes using smart-phone technology for the Surge, numerous prizes, giveaways, and the venue costs.

By donating, a banner will be displayed at the event with your business/organization’s name thanking you for your sponsorship. You will be listed as a sponsor on our webpage at www.ntyouthcenter.com/youth-board as well as on all our social media outlets and during a slide show presentation before the movie at the drive-in.
