All ages welcome 

$20 per cooking kit ( can be shared with 2 or more kids)

Live Zoom classes will be held to teach your child(ren) how to prepare the recipes included in the kit. This way they can ask questions if necessary. But don't worry, if your child can't make the scheduled classes, videos of the classes will be posted once they're complete. 

(We'll email all participants with the zoom link a few days before the class)

We'll provide about 75% of the items you'll need for these recipes. Visit our website to see what you'll need to provide. If you have any problems obtaining any of the ingredients, just email Michelle at mbernas@northtonawanda.org and we'll be able to assist you.

COOKING KIT INCLUDES:


Cooking Spray

3 cans of biscuit dough

Cinnamon 

Yeast packets

Mini loaf pans

Muffin Pans

Gallon zip lock bag

¼ flax meal

2 cups oats

1 cup small marshmallows

1 cup mini chocolate chips

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 can mixed veggies


WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR ALL OF THE RECIPES:


Sugar (3/4c), (1/4c)

Butter (1/2c) (6 tbs)

Brown sugar (1/2c), (1/3c)

1 cup leftover chicken breast cut up or 1 small chicken breast fully cooked

Flour

Olive oil

Salt (kosher if possible but not necessary)

Vanilla extract

Tin foil


For the granola bars, they will need whatever is their favorite. We'll provide the mini chocolate chips as we're assuming everyone loves those. Below are suggestions; 


Their favorite cereal (Rice Krispies works best but we can ad lib this part)

Almonds (can use peanuts, pecans… whatever or none)

Can add raisins, craisins, or other favorite dried fruit.

Class to be held: 12/17 @ 5PM


What you'll need:


3/4 Cup white sugar

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar.


We'll provide the rest.

Mini Chicken Pot Pies


Class will be held: 1/5 @ 5PM


What you'll need:


3/4 cup chopped, leftover chicken OR 1 small chicken breast, fully cooked and chopped. 

You can reuse the muffin tins from the Yummy Monkey Bread

BREAD IN A BAG


Class to be held:1/18 @11:00 AM


What you'll need:


3 cups all purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup warm water

3 tbs. olive oil (Can use melted butter also)

2 tps. salt


We'll provide the rest.


Due to the nature of this recipe, the online class will be in 2 parts to allow for "rising time". Check email and teams messages for details.

YOUR FAV GRANOLA BARS


Class to be held: 1/26 @ 5PM


What you'll need:


6 tbs butter

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup plus 2 tbs honey

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp salt

1 3/4 cups thier favorite cereal (rice krispies works best. cheerios too)
