LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Would you like to be part of the fairy tale but don't have the means to make your own display or scene?


The NT Recreation Department is looking for people to help out as participants with the displays and/or scenes they'll be setting up.


We'll need some volunteers to dress up and make our creations come to life.


This is a great way to earn some volunteer hours to meet your high school requirement or just to come out and have some real Halloween fun.


We're looking for anyone between 14 and 18 years old to help out. Just fill out the form below and someone will be in touch with more detail.

HAUNTED HARBOR

Haunted Harbor

Kids of all ages are welcome to our family friendly trick or treating adventure


Come walk through several of your favorite classic fairytale scenes as the three little pigs or Goldilocks hand out candy and other goodies to all (no porridge).


Join in on the fun by wearing your own costume and add to our Halloween Experience.

Come Be a Part of the Fun

Are you a Halloween enthusiast who would like to help us create some family friendly fun?


We're looking for groups to volunteer to decorate either a Backdrop, a trunk or create an active scene to be a part of our Halloween experience.


This is a perfect opportunity for your business or organization to get involved to provide a safe Halloween event for the NT Community and beyond. 


Maybe your group of friends loves the season and would be interested in putting on an active Halloween scene to add to the thrills and chills of the evening. 



We'll be handing out prizes to the top 2 displays for the evening based on visitor voting. 


Winners will receive praise and accolades in addition to these monetary prizes.


1st place -  $100 visa gift card

2nd place - $75 visa gift card


There are a couple different ways for you to participate. 


  • 10 x 10 space for an active scene

Bring your own 10 x 10 pop up tent or get creative and define your space another way and decorate in your favorite fairy tale theme. 


(Please no gore or overly scary décor as this is geared toward younger children.)


You are not limited to decorating this space only. If you need more space, just let us know. 


  • Trunk/Auto Display

Use that SUV for more than just a kid caravan.


We would like to have car displays parked throughout the harbor to give our visitors front row viewing of your creative auto displays. 


This is a fun and easy way to get your friends and family involved. You could even turn your display into and active scene. 


So many ideas out there. We're looking forward to seeing your creativeness shine.


 
Each group who participates will also be a trick or treat station. You should come prepared to hand out candy to 500+ kids.
