Player of the Week:

Natalie Caccamise—Saints

Natalie had a big-time game on Saturday, playing lock-down defense all afternoon. Natalie did a great job deflecting passes and was rewarded near the end of the game by snagging an interception and taking it to the endzone for a Pick-6. Natalie also scored a crucial 80-yard touchdown at the end of the first half to swing the momentum into the Saints favor.

Unsung Hero of the Week:

Emma Stahl—Lions

Emma’s can-do attitude and blazing speed were infectious for her teammates on Saturday, as she was a leader for her team all afternoon. Emma scored an incredible 80-yard touchdown on her team’s first drive, and later scored again in the second quarter by outrunning her defenders like the Flash. Emma also was superb at pulling her opponents flags, as she had 4 total tackles on the afternoon. Emma also recorded two pass deflections. Emma’s positive spirit and sportsmanship embodied the NT Rec Sports attitude.
