Player of the Week:

Matthew Grinnell—Bills

Matthew Grinnell had a monster Opening Day game on Saturday, using his lethal combination of speed and size to make plays all afternoon. Matt set the tone of the game on the first play when he hauled in an incredible 65-yard reception over his defender. Matt scored two total touchdowns, including one on the opening drive, and a critical pick-6 during the 4th quarter to shift the momentum of the game. Matt’s leadership and determination helped him lead his team to victory on Saturday.

Unsung Hero of the Week:

Talan Garver—Cardinals

Talan had a quiet but important game on Saturday. Talan scored on the first play from scrimmage for his team by making moves and racing the length of the field. Talan really shined on defense, recording 4 tackles and 3 pass break-ups, while consistently pressuring whichever receiver he was covering.
